Ontario Workforce Priority requires a full-time, permanent Ontario job offer on business letterhead — unless you are a self-employed physician.

Where are you currently living? In Ontario, working on a valid permit In Canada but outside Ontario Outside Canada

Do you have a signed Ontario job offer? Yes. Full-time, permanent, signed and dated by both parties on employer letterhead. Verbal or draft. Employer has agreed but I do not yet have a signed offer. No offer yet. I am still job-hunting or exploring.

Licensed / regulated occupation?

Listed skilled trade NOC. Major Groups 72, 73, 82, 83, 93 (with exceptions), Minor 6320, or Chefs (62200). Not a listed skilled trade (or unsure).

Heads up: NOC 73300 (transport truck drivers) and 73301 (bus/transit operators) must always show 6 consecutive months of paid experience — even with the licensed or recent-grad routes.

Which OWP experience option fits you?

The OWP TEER 0-3 pathway accepts any one of these routes. Pick the option that best matches your situation.

Option A — Same employer, 6 months. 6 consecutive months in the last 12 with the offering employer, in the job-offer position, in Ontario. Option B — Recent Ontario graduate + 3 months. Ontario post-secondary credential earned in the last 3 years (2-year+ diploma/degree, Master's, PhD, or Ontario college graduate certificate) + 3 consecutive months with the offering employer. Option C — 2 years in the NOC. 2 cumulative years in the last 5 in the same NOC (any employer, anywhere). TEER 4-5 route. 9 months cumulative in the last 2 years with the offering employer (for TEER 4 or 5 job offers). Licensed-applicant exemption. I already hold the Ontario licence for the offered regulated occupation.Exempt from work-experience and education requirements. Language requirements still apply. Self-employed physician. CPSO good standing + eligible registration class + OHIP billing.No job offer required. None of these fit me.
