OINP Eligibility Simulator — Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

Eligibility Simulator

Answer five short steps and we'll match your profile to the current and upcoming OINP pathways. Verified against ontario.ca — August 2026, post-redesign.

Step 1 of 5

Beginning

What is your primary OINP path?

The 2026 redesign closed eight legacy streams. The Ontario Workforce Priority stream is the only currently open pathway; three more will launch later in 2026. The Entrepreneur stream remains a separate program.

Location & job offer

Where are you now, and do you have an Ontario job offer?

Ontario Workforce Priority requires a full-time, permanent Ontario job offer on business letterhead — unless you are a self-employed physician.

Occupation

What is your occupation on the offer?

Your NOC is determined by actual duties, not title. The TEER category is the second digit of the 5-digit NOC code.

Experience route

Which OWP experience option fits you?

The OWP TEER 0-3 pathway accepts any one of these routes. Pick the option that best matches your situation.

Education & language

Final details — education, language, and funds.

Language tests must be under 2 years old (IELTS General, CELPIP General, PTE Core, TEF Canada, or TCF Canada). ECA reports must be under 5 years old.

Important. This tool is a self-assessment aid, not legal advice. Eligibility depends on documentation, NOC verification, and program rules in force on the date your application is received. Ontario's Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development makes the final decision on nomination; IRCC makes the final decision on permanent residence.
