The BC PNP International Post-Graduate (IPG) stream is no longer accepting new applications. This page was reviewed on October 17, 2026.
Closure timeline
The final IPG application deadline was 9 a.m. on January 7, 2025, for applicants meeting the eligibility requirements as of December 31, 2024.
On April 23, 2026, BC confirmed that it would not launch the proposed replacement student streams. A BC master’s or doctoral credential does not allow a new direct application under the former IPG stream.
If you already applied
People who submitted before the deadline should follow the instructions and correspondence for their existing file. Closure to new applicants does not establish an individual pending application’s outcome or processing date.
